Change Domain Contact Information
This process will allow you to modify the contact information associated with the domain, including the Registrant, Administrative, Technical and Billing Contacts.
- Log in to your profile.
- Click Account Management > My Domains under the menu tabs.
- Click the directly on the domain you want to change contacts for, or click the gear icon beside it.
- Click "Edit Domain Contact Information" under the Quick Actions section of the My Domains list.
- On the Edit Domain Contact Information page, you can edit the Registrant
Information, Administrative Contact, Technical Contact, and Billing Contact
information. Make the necessary edits. You can select "Use contact details above" rather than entering the same details for each contact.
- You can apply the changes to other domains listed by checking them off the list at the bottom of the form.
- When you are done click "Continue".
- Confirm changes and click "Submit" to make your changes take effect.
Results:
- Changes to the domain will happen immediately provided the updated contact
information is valid.
- For .ca domains, the registrant details include a Registrant Legal Type. Be sure that the registrant name selected fits the format for that particular Legal Type. In addition, a complete set of contact details
are required for .ca domain names. If you do not maintain a complete set of Registrant contact information, your domain may be suspended by the registry.
